House of Rani, which specialises in creating bespoke South Asian clothing and jewellery, will be hosting a pop-up at John Lewis Leicester ahead of Diwali.

House of Rani, which specialises in creating bespoke South Asian clothing and jewellery, will be hosting a pop-up at John Lewis Leicester ahead of Diwali.

Founder, Nirmala Shoker, has built the brand after her own struggles of being able to find timeless and elegant outfits for herself and her daughters. House of Rani offers designs that can be adapted and made to suit any individual style or shape, and for any occasion. Because good fashion shouldn’t be restrictive, uncomfortable or boring.

Nirmala and her daughters are proud to wear outfits that have been inspired by the craftsmanship of their Indian heritage. House of Rani hopes to inspire more women to embrace their Asian culture and individual style with its range of contemporary, yet classic designs.

Nirmala said it was a big step for the brand to be working with John Lewis as many people in the city prepare for the Diwali celebrations.

She said: “To have John Lewis showing support for an Asian female-led small business like ours is a huge honour.

“We’re excited to give people the opportunity to see our designs and pass on our love of high quality Asian fashion.

Visit House of Rani at John Lewis Highcross Leicester From Monday 21 October until 27 October.
