Mum: Ravinder Bhullar
Mothers are irreplaceable. No one can take the place of the person who gave birth to you. That connection naturally becomes strong. But a mother is also our first friend—someone we can lean on, confide in, and be silly with. I’m so grateful to have the bond I do with my mum.
Her love and guidance have shaped me into the woman I am today, all down to her own life experiences. The things she’s been through have taught me so much. Passing on those life lessons to your children is the greatest gift any mother can give. Without her support, this journey called life would be so much harder. Her guidance is everything.
The greatest lesson she’s taught me is to become stronger emotionally. Not everything goes your way, and not everyone will understand that. Mum always tells me not to overthink—God has a plan. Dwelling on things emotionally just drains you and leads to health problems. It’s not worth it.
Whenever she’s there watching me win, I know she’s clapping the loudest. Her presence alone makes me feel stronger, lighter, and more confident.
With my mum, I’ll always cherish the moments she lifted me when I was down and wiped away my tears. We make a great tag team. With my grandma, I’ll never forget the discipline, the lessons, and the way she taught me how to pray.
My mum’s patience is something I still try to learn from. Her strength and work ethic inspire me daily to give 100% in all I do.
